A HISTORY OF EXCELLENCE
Bellurgan Precision began as a commercial enterprise in 1978. Founded by Bernard Carroll, the company was focused on delivering precision engineering products and services to a number of multinational and indigenous manufacturers operating in Ireland. Our company ethos was founded on partnership, engineering excellence and world class production methodologies. From the company's inception, Bellurgan recognised the value of working closely with clients in a "hands on" professional manner.
At Bellurgan Precision, we recognize that in order to continue to satisfy customers' evolving requirements, we needed to adhere to our 3 'I's of continuous Improvement, continuous Investment and continuous Innovation. In the spirit of pioneering customer satisfaction, a number of long term relationships were forged with several key customers. Bellurgan successfully builds customer trust which consequently reinforces our successful customer centric ethos and further enables our company to innovate, invest, improve and grow.
Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Bellurgan Precision responded to customer requirements by establishing and expanding in-house CNC milling and turning capabilities. In the 1990s, our customer centric ethos saw us respond by installing sliding head, multi-spindle and wire EDM equipment. The introduction of 'continuous skills improvement programs', and best practice production methodologies, combined with further investment in more specialized machinery, saw the company strengthen and expand skillsets and capabilities tailored to specific industry sectors.
Our apprentices have been consistently chosen as finalists in the national toolmaking competition. So far, a total of 8 apprentices have won the national competition. Three of these employees were in turn chosen to represent Ireland in the World Skills Olympics. We understand and appreciate the value of a highly skilled workforce. We value the loyalty and continuing support we receive from our workforce. The combination of world class production excellence, highly specialised machinery, experienced expertise, and managerial foresight has ensured that our bedrock of quality is consistent, continuous and conducive to meeting customer challenges.
